Headquarters Installation and Logistics Directs all planning and budgeting activities for the Installation and Logistics Department. We support military readiness and quality of life with sufficient, high quality facilities at the lowest life-cycle cost, and to provide logistical and support services with an emphasis on improving tenant unit productivity aboard Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. This includes the identification and solution of facility deficiencies by using engineering and commercial construction techniques, with an emphasis on constructing or renovating existing station facilities. Our aim is to improve installation management, eliminate excess facilities, drive-down support costs, increase use of recycled materials, save energy, and protect the environment, in supporting the military mission.
Facilities Support Services Division Responsible for the upkeep and repair of Station buildings and grounds.
Logistics Division Responsible for the billeting, housing, food service, and movement of personnel of Station and tenant organization personnel aboard the Air Station. All purchasing, food service, and fuel requests are handled by this division.
Engineering Division Responsible for planning, drafting, and programming building, structural, and traffic requirements aboard the Air Station.
Resident Officer In Charge of Construction Ensures that all buildings and structures aboard the Air Station meet DOD, DON, OSHA, DOT and other governmental regulatory standards.
