Staff Sgt. Ryan Brown, Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 13 ground safety manager, carries Marine Aircraft Group 13’s guidon and leads other MALS-13 Marines Nov. 9, 2010, during the MAG-13 Marine Corps birthday run, which started at 2 a.m. and finished at 8 a.m. Nov. 10, 2010. Groups of Marines, ranging from one to small groups at a time, took turns completing three laps each around the station parade field, which is approximately 1.4 miles, to compile a total of 235 miles. Each mile represented a year the Marine Corps has existed.
