A U.S. Marine UH-1N Huey helicopter fires counter measures over the Imperial Desert in California on Oct. 8, 2010, during a training mission as part of Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course. The course, hosted twice a year in Yuma by Marine Aviation and Weapons Tactics Squadron 1, trains Marine students from across the globe to return to their units as training officers versed in the latest aviation tactics and procedures. The UH-1 Huey is often used for aerial reconnaissance and close air support.
