A static display of an AV-8 Harrier in the process of being restored stands against the sunset at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Ariz., Aug. 30, 2010. The refurbishing process was done by shifts of Marine Attack Squadron 513 Marines, who oversaw and facilitated the restoration, which consisted of power washing and painting the aircraft. There’s a sense of accomplishment in restoring an aircraft that once belonged to your squadron, said Sgt. Jason Vanzile, VMA-513 airframes mechanic.
