Sgt. Joseph Aranda, left, Marine Attack Squadron 311 ordnance noncommissioned officer in charge, and Cpl. Aaron McGuire, squadron ordnance technician, look out on San Diego from the deck of the USS Peleliu as the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit returns from its final predeployment exercise April 27, 2010. Six AV-8B Harriers and approximately 80 squadron Marines left Yuma April 15 to participate in their third and final predeployment training evolution. The exercise, which began April 16 and is scheduled to end April 27, included the entire 15th MEU. The squadron is slated to deploy with the 15th MEU in May, during which it will conduct counter-piracy operations in the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
