Lance Cpl. Joseph Sica, left, and Lance Cpl. Josh Beck, Combat Logistics Company 16 utilities mechanics, stand at the end of the 100-meter dash waiting to give runners their placing during a district track meet at Carver Park in Yuma March 19, 2010. Approximately 20 Yuma-based Marines volunteered their time to help set up the meet, which approximately 400 4th through 6th grade students from 18 schools participated in. “Helping kids is awesome,” said Cpl. Alexandra Aponte, Marine Wing Support Squadron 371 logistics clerk. “It’s really nice to get out here and show the community what Marines can do.”
