A downed radio tower on the Barry M. Goldwater Range east of the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Ariz., is scheduled to be replaced before the start of the next Weapons and Tactics Instructors course in March 2010. The air station received approval in December 2009 to build a similar tower on a site north of the Chocolate Mountain Aerial Gunnery Range west of the air station that allows for maintenance without halting training.
