Marines with 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, board a CH-53E Super Stallion after securing a landing zone on an Army Yuma Proving Ground range in Yuma, Ariz., as part of a Weapons and Tactics Instructor course April 13, 2009. The battalion is training for its deployment in August 2009. The Camp Lejeune, N.C., battalion is scheduled to conclude their training in Yuma with a battalion-sized helicopter-borne assault exercise in late April, the largest exercise of its type conducted in approximately 10 years.
