Personnel assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., received certificate of appreciation awards commending the support they provide to the Joint Task Force – North units that come to the station on a rotational basis in support of United States Customs and Border Protection. MCAS Yuma and its assets have saved the U. S. Government approximately 1.6 million dollars in expenses by offering housing and life support for the seven rotations of units who came in support of U.S. Border Patrol.
