Lance Cpl. Dakota Johnson, a flight equipment technician with Marine Attack Squadron 513 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., is welcomed home by his wife May 18, after a 6-month deployment with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. This was also the first time Johnson ever met or held his 2-month-old son, who was born while he was deployed. The Marines from VMA-513, who returned home to MCAS Yuma, were operating in Japan and aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard in the North Pacific Ocean since December of last year. This marks the final adventure for the VMA-513 Flying Nightmares, as the Squadron is slated for decommissioning this summer.
