U.S. Marines with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron (H&HS), Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma, participate in the Change of Command Ceremony where Lt. Col. James S. Tanis, commanding officer for H&HS relinquished command to Lt. Col. James C. Paxton on MCAS Yuma, Ariz., June 15, 2018. Mike Hayden, Program Manager for Veteran Ventures at UC San Diego, gives his remarks to the Startup Battlefield 101 graduating class Monday, June 4, 2018, at the Ida and Cecil Green Faculty Club aboard UC San Diego. The graduating class consisted of service members and veterans. The course was taught in partnership with SmartMoney Veterans and is designed to help transitioning service members and veterans leverage the skills they already have and translate those skills into launching businisses and creating successful civilian careers.
