An MV-22 Osprey approaches an urban training range in Twentynine Palms, Calif., on Oct. 10, 2009, in order to pick up the Marines it dropped off less than an hour earlier. For the New River, N.C.-based Osprey pilots and crew, the helo raid was part of their training for the Weapons and Tactics Instructors course taught by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron 1 based at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Ariz.
