Cpl. Matthew R. Cunningham, Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 13 test cell operator and native of West Palm Beach, Fla., records readouts during an AV-8B Harrier II engine test Feb. 1 at the T-10 Test Cell, Building 310 here. Previously trained as power plant mechanics, all of the test cell operators have knowledge of the engine that enables them to perform minor, on-the-spot repairs during the test process. In addition to supporting all of the Harrier squadrons on station, MALS-13 also supports squadrons at all of the other Marine Corps installations and units on deployment because of their expertise and experience with the Harrier.
