Cpl. Raymond Hazelton (left), Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting senior rescueman and native of South Euclid, Ohio, and Cpl. Dedrick McDannell, Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 13 micro miniature electrician and native of Onley, Va., crawl across Ramada Field here Dec. 7 as part of a martial arts instructor training course. The course is very physically demanding, with Marines doing combat conditioning exercises several times a week, on top of the physical training they already do. In addition to the physical training, Marines are also taught mental and character strength so they may pass it on to the Marines they will train in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program.
