Cpl. Joey Ellis, Marine Attack Squadron 231 aviation ordnanceman, straightens a short-airfield tactical-site (SATS) loader before driving an inert version of the Guided Bomb Unit 16 (GBU-16) -- a MK-83 1,000-pound bomb modified with a Paveway II laser guidance kit -- into position under a VMA-223 AV-8B Harrier at the Combat Arms Loading Area here April 6. Other ordnancemen then attached the GBU-16 to one of the aircraft?s loading stations.
