Lt. Col. Mark P. Everman, commanding officer, Marine Attack Squadron-214, and other supporters of the Yuma Scorpions, had the unique opportunity to line up and throw the first pitches of the game at the Desert Sun Stadium May 30. Because the game was on Memorial Day, the Scorpions honored service members of the past and present by involving them in various parts of the game.
