Sgt. Jarvis L. White, Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron weather observer and native of Tampa, Fla., checks conditions such as cloud cover and visibility from the flightline Sept. 23. Every hour, the weather conditions are updated so station personnel are kept aware of current conditions that may affect their jobs. Pilots keep a close watch on the weather in order to make sure that it is safe for them to fly throughout the day.
