Oct 10, 2009
Members of E Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, watch aircraft take off in the distance near the flight line at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Ariz., before a helicopter raid training exercise Oct. 10, 2009. The Marines routinely tuck their blouses into their trousers during helicopter missions to keep the loose material from hanging out. The battalion, based in Twentynine Palms, Calif., is scheduled to deploy with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in early 2010, with E Company assigned to specialize in helicopter insertions and raids.
