Kenny Ausdemore, sheet metal mechanic, reinforces the frame of an AV-8B Harrier in the Fleet Readiness Center hangar at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Ariz., Sept. 16, 2009. The FRC performs preventative maintenance inspections, as well as major modifications to structural and electrical systems on aircraft beyond what a squadron’s maintenance personnel are trained to do. The thirty-man crew is scheduled to work more than 48,000 hours this year.
