Lance Cpl. Richard T. Earl (left), Marine Attack Squadron 311 tool room clerk and native of Spartanburg, S.C., performs corrosion maintenance on a socket wrench bit Jan. 19 in the VMA-311 hangar. Tool room personnel are not only accountable for keeping track of all of the tools, but also perform routine maintenance on the tools in order to extend their service life.
