Dan Myers, electric violinist and vocalist for Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band, leads a cover of The Who’s “Baba O’Riley” during the band’s performance at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Ariz., Feb. 13, 2010. Nearly 350 service members and civilians turned up to watch the band. Playing for almost two-and-a-half hours, the band provided covers of songs from different musical eras, from “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” to psychedelic classic "Purple Haze." Depending on the mood the band set, people were either dancing wildly on stage or slowly stepping face-to-face with their loved one. “I loved it,” said Heather Bunn, local nurse.
