Lance Cpl. Evelio Mota, an ordnance mechanic with Marine Aircraft Group 13, from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., sprays a wax and water combination to solidify carbon fiber on debris recovered from the AV-8B Harrier II crash site during the cleanup process in Imperial, Calif., Monday. The substance is used to prevent the wind from blowing the carbon fiber around the environment and causing potential health hazards.
