A heavy equipment operator with Marine Wing Support Squadron 371 from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., is guided to retrieve debris and final components of the aircraft necessary to complete the cleanup process of the AV-8B Harrier II crash site in Imperial, Calif., Monday. "We want to show the community that we are making progress and will return the site to the city as soon as possible," said Lt. Col. John Ferguson, the executive officer of Marine Aircraft Group 13, stationed at MCAS Yuma. "The Marine Corps wants to ensure the community we do our best and will do a proper cleanup [of the crash site]."
