An AV-8B Harrier with Marine Attack Squadron 214 prepares to land at the new Auxiliary Landing Field (ALF) facility at MCAS Yuma, Ariz., Feb. 24. The ALF is designed for pilots to use for field-carrier landing practice prior to conducting ship- landing qualifications – a requirement before deploying with Marine Expeditionary Units.
